Release 20D (November 2020)

Key Features In This Release

  • You can now add a standard Cookie Consent Banner to any Taleo-hosted Career Center with one click.
    • This helps organizations that recruit in the EU to meet GDPR requirements.
  • Customize the decline email that Taleo sends to candidates when they are moved to a reject status on a requisition.
    • Send a different message to candidates who interviewed for the position, versus those who simply applied but didn’t match the qualifications.
  • Post open jobs online instantly with the eQuest BLAST! Network that is provided to TBE customers free of charge.
  • You now have the option to hide selected competency sections on employee reviews.
    • This will allow you to keep certain employee feedback private to be reviewed with them verbally or at a later date.

Release 20C (August 2020)

Key Features In This Release

  • Additional enhancements to the upgraded Taleo candidate search allows all talent acquisition users to source talent based on requisition-specific candidate information.
    • For example, users can now search specifically for candidates who were screened or interviewed on a prior requisition.
  • TBE Perform users can add the “My Team” page to the Talent Center to show managers performance information about their team members.
    • This will allow managers to see progress on their own goals as well as the goals of their team members so that they can check-in and support them.
  • The CC-305 Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability form that is included on the candidate application has been updated to the new version provided by the U.S. government.

Release 20B (May 2020)

Key Features In This Release

  • Upgraded Taleo candidate search allows all talent acquisition users to more effectively source talent from their existing Taleo database of resumes.
  • Enhanced Talent Center text customization allows your organization to personalize the information for each and every user.
    • For example, greet the employee by name at the top of the page and display his/her HRBP contact information. These key details will updates automatically based on the logged-in user.
  • Taleo administrators can prevent “No Access” users from receiving Taleo system emails.
    • This feature is very useful when a team member leaves the organization and should no longer receive automatic notifications or requests.

Release 20A (February 2020)

Key Features In This Release

  • Users can select which email template they want to use to email a candidate offer.
    • This means that you can have one email message for sending an offer to an external candidate and another email message for sending an offer to an internal candidate.
  • Taleo administrators can rename buttons on Rolling Entities to match customized use.
    • If your organization has repurposed the “Residence History” section to capture motor vehicle accident history, for example, the “Add” buttons can be renamed to match that new use case.
  • Updates to the integrated Monster Candidate Search:
    • Option to give access to Hiring Manager users.
    • Create new saved candidate searches easily using the “Save As” feature.
    • View the candidate’s Monster profile information without previewing the resume, which charges your account.
    • Only see open requisitions when choosing where to add the candidate.
  • I9 and W4 forms have been updated to the 2020 versions.

Release 19D (November 2019)

Key Features In This Release

  • Taleo administrators can customize all Talent Center page layouts, including the home page.
    • Rearrange all page content to highlight the most important information for your users.
  • New Monster integration allows recruiters to access Monster.com candidates from inside Taleo.
    • Taleo users with access to Recruit can search for candidates on Monster.com and upload resumes directly to Taleo, instantly.
  • Manually link an existing candidate record to an existing employee record.
    • This allows recruiters organizations who added Taleo Onboard at a later date to fully integration Recruit and Onboard information.
  • Customize the Taleo login page URL for users to streamline the login process by pre-filling the Company Code.
    • For Example: https://tbe.taleo.net/dispatcher/login.jsp?org=RECRUITINGDASH will prefill the company code making it easier to login.

Release 19C (August 2019)

Key Features In This Release

  • Taleo now supports UK English.
  • Can designate one or more default offer approvers for each department, division, location, and/or region.
  • Taleo administrators can opt include the requisition-specific candidate status in your automated emails to provide even more transparency.
    • For example, automatically let candidates know that they will be contacted shortly to schedule an in-person interview.
  • When creating a candidate offer letter in Taleo, the required “Manager” field will now default to “Please Select” rather than the first name in the list.
    • This solves the problem of users overlooking this required field and creating an offer letter with the wrong manager name.
  • The setting "Prevent Harmful HTML in TBE application" now protects the notification and consent statements on the application.
    • If your privacy statement contains any HTML links, you will need to use the custom security level, and uncheck the "Prevent Harmful HTML in TBE application" setting.
    • Taleo will still warn you about potentially harmful HTML, but you will have the option of continuing with the text as-is.

Release 19B (May 2019)

Key Features In This Release

  • Introducing TBE Learn, a new Taleo module that allows Taleo administrators to create custom development and training content.
    • Integrated directly with Taleo Onboard to provide training to new employees.
    • Provide training materials to current employees or certain groups.
    • Incorporate video and presentation content into training bundles.
  • Add up to ten custom pages on the Talent Center to organize information for your employees.
    • Create unique pages for specific initiatives, like employee referral bonuses or corporate holiday giving programs.
  • Optional increased security with 2-Step authentication for team members who log into Taleo.
    • Once enabled, each user can decide to set up the 2-Step authentication or not.
    • Any phone-based or external authentication app can be used, such as Oracle Authenticator, Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy.

Release 19A (February 2019)

Key Features In This Release

  • Customize the Company Code that users use to log into Taleo and candidates see on the Career Center links.
    • This is really helpful for organizations that have gone through acquisitions or other name change events.
  • Rehired candidates can now be linked to an existing employee record.
  • Customize the default message that is posted for jobs shared to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Email.

Release 18D (November 2018)

Key Features In This Release

  • Updates to the way requisition screening questions are stored and organized.
    • Unused or older questions can be deactivated to keep the list clean.
    • Questions can be bundled together in categories to make them easier to find.
  • When creating candidate offer letters in Taleo, "Long format" expiration and start dates (e.g. November 1, 2018) can be added automatically.
  • To continue using the “Apply with your LinkedIn profile” button on the Career Center, your Taleo administrator must enter LinkedIn login credentials for a user with a LinkedIn Recruiter license.
  • Career Center now allows job seekers to apply for a job using their Monster.com profile.

Release 18C (August 2018)

Key Features In This Release

  • Taleo customers can request a scheduled purge of candidate records to maintain compliance with GDPR requirements.
  • Taleo can remind requisition and offer approvers on a regular basis via email until the item is approved.
  • Candidates are able to complete a job application as a guest, rather than establishing a login and password.
  • Career Centers can be easily optimized for inclusion in Google for Jobs search results.
  • Employees can now update their Employee login and password directly from the Talent Center.

Release 18B (May 2018)

Key Features In This Release

  • Taleo now supports Swedish.
  • Taleo Administrators can customize the password requirements for both users and candidates to ensure the security of your system.
  • Customers using Office 365 can now configure the scheduling integration to easily see free/busy time from a user's Outlook calendar inside Taleo.
  • The ability to lookup interviewer availability when scheduling interviews inside Taleo now works with Office 365.
  • Candidates can share jobs on their Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn pages.
  • Taleo Administrators can customize the confirmation email that is sent to candidates who setup job alerts.
  • Employees can add/update their own profile pictures on the Talent Center.
  • Managers can share attachments with specific employees that they select.

Release 18A (February 2018)

Key Features In This Release

  • Taleo now supports Swedish.
  • Customers can now set up a detailed notification page with their data privacy or other policies and require that potential candidates provide consent before starting an application. When this feature is enabled, this information is presented each time anyone applies for any requisition.
    • Supports GDPR requirements.
  • Initial Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Support for TBE.
  • Candidates who are manually attached to a requisition cannot apply online.
    • They need to be invited with the invite feature.

Release 17B2 (October 2017)

Key Features In This Release

  • Taleo’s secure mobile-friendly Hiring Manager portal, known as the “Talent Center”, is growing! Users can now approve candidate offers on the portal.
  • Sequential approval of candidate offers prevent users from approving out of order.
  • Deliver informative emails to recruitment stakeholders automatically.
  • Setup automatic email notification of completed new hire paperwork.
  • Alert managers automatically when performance goals are updated.
  • Create Taleo user profiles for new employees automatically.

Release 17B1 (July 2017)

Key Features In This Release

  • Encourage hiring manager self service through a sleek and secure online recruitment portal, allowing them to:
    • Create requisitions.
    • Approve requisitions.
    • Review resumes.
    • Update candidate statuses.
  • Sequential approval of requisitions prevent users from approving out of order.
  • Status update comments are now included in the timeline on the candidate profile for easy review.
  • Interviews scheduled inside Taleo automatically adjust based on the candidate’s timezone.
  • Easily report out which requisitions are posted to the career website via TBE reporting.

Release 17A2 (April 2017)

Key Features In This Release

  • Candidates can submit up to 10MB of work samples online - that's more than 2x more than previously allowed!
  • Mobile-enabled career website (Career Center) allows candidates to update work history, education information, certificates, and references on their candidate profile anytime (without submitting a new application).
  • Mobile-enabled career website (Career Center) can show additional requisition details on the job description page.
  • Mobile-enabled career website (Career Center) has more flexible styling with custom HTML capabilities on each page.
  • Taleo Administrators can create a dedicated mobile-enabled career website (Career Center) to allow candidates to apply to a single specific requisition.
    • This means that the requisition can be private, or “invite only”.
  • Customers using Exchange 2010 SP3, Exchange 2013 (including SP1), and Exchange 2016 can now configure the scheduling integration to easily see free/busy time from a user's Outlook calendar inside Taleo.
  • Enhanced TBE Recruit reporting capabilities related to requisition-specific candidate activity, offer letter approvals, and history logs throughout Taleo.

Release 17A1 (January 2017)

Key Features In This Release

  • Customers required to be OFCCP compliant can now make customizations to the Veteran Status field for easier reporting.
  • Taleo administrators can configure their own basic integration to push newly hired employees to Oracle Fusion Human Capital Management.
  • For Taleo Perform users, the mobile-enabled Talent Center now supports employee goal setting and performance reviews.
  • Taleo Sourcing Center (a.k.a. Social Sourcing) now automatically identifies returning applicants via email and directs them to the login page to submit additional applications.

Release 16B2 (October 2016)

Key Features In This Release

  • For customers using TBE Onboard to do new hire paperwork, you can now add copies of company-wide documents to the mobile-enabled talent center that can be read and downloaded by employees. This is a great place to host your annual company holiday schedule and other similar informational documents for employees.
  • Improved TBE Perform list view filters allow administrators and managers to more easily see active performance reviews.
  • TBE Perform now allows administrators to print multi-rater feedback to keep in the employee's permanent records.
  • Email reminders related to inactive employees are automatically disabled in TBE Perform, to avoid confusion.
  • TBE Learn can now be accessed by employees via mobile-enabled Talent Center, using SSO.

Release 16B1 (July 2016)

Key Features In This Release

  • You can now allow candidates to complete a general application on the mobile-enabled career center.
  • For customers using the interview scheduling tool in TBE Recruit, selected attachments are now attached directly to the calendar item for easy interviewer access the day of the interview.
  • Customers using TBE Onboard to do new hire paperwork can now allow employees to complete non-form tasks, like confirming receipt of the annual calendar, and upload attachments, like a copy of their driver's license.
  • Administrators can delete active packets and set multiple due dates at once, making the administration of the new hire onboarding process easier than ever.
  • The mobile-friendly talent center can now include a custom background image, to more closely align with your company brand.
  • You can now configure Single Sign On - or SSO - to allow users to access TBE Learn. This eliminates the hassle of forgotten passwords and makes it easy to revoke TBE access when a user leaves your company.

Key Features In This Release

  • Candidates applying through the mobile-enabled career center can now save draft applications, allowing them to return and complete the application at another time.
  • The mobile-enabled talent center is now available for TBE Onboard customers. It's designed to extend the mobile-enabled experience provided by the career center to new hires during the onboarding process.

Release 16A1 (January 2016)

Key Features In This Release

  • Apply more custom branding to the mobile-enabled career center using “themes,” which allow you to specify page background, text, link, and button colors to match your corporate website. Your marketing/web team can also insert custom-designed headers and footers.
  • Ask more detailed questions of your applicants on the mobile-enabled application by adding supporting text to selected answer fields.

Release 15B2 (October 2015)

Key Features In This Release

  • Candidates can now sign up to receive email job alerts on the mobile-enabled career center. After searching for a job, candidates have the option to receive future email alerts to additional posted positions meeting these same criteria.
  • Candidates applying through the mobile-enabled career center can now upload a resume from Google Drive or Dropbox.
  • Customize the mobile-friendly application to capture detailed work history, education, and certificates, as necessary.

Release 15B1 (July 2015)

Key Features In This Release

  • The mobile-enabled career center is now available and designed to greatly improve the applicant experience from a mobile device and through the application process.
  • More easily deliver candidate resumes to hiring managers and other stakeholders by merging them into a portfolio or printing them in bulk.
  • Having trouble tracking or reporting on requisitions by recruiter or hiring manager? TBE Recruit now includes standard fields to capture the Requisition Recruiter and Requisition Hiring Manager, eliminating the need to pick the desired user from the list of many requisition owners.

Release 15A2 (April 2015)

Key Features In This Release

  • You can now configure Single Sign On - or SSO - to allow users to be automatically signed into TBE (Recruit, Onboard, and Perform). This eliminates the hassle of forgotten passwords and makes it easy to revoke TBE access when a user leaves your company.
  • You can now clone many of the standard TBE reports in order to customize them to your needs. You no longer have to create custom versions of these reports from scratch.
  • For customers using TBE Onboard for new hire paperwork, easily print new hire onboarding forms in bulk. Select multiple forms and print them all in one step.

Release 15A1 (January 2015)

Key Features In This Release

  • You can now fine-tune TBE Recruit access by limiting what can be done with candidates at certain stages of the recruitment process. For example, prevent hiring managers from marking a candidate as “Rejected” to ensure that each candidate receives the proper communication and decline coding.
  • The TBE reporting tool now includes tabs for easier navigation during the report creation process.
